STOCKHOLM

Stockholm – Queen of Lake Mälaren and the capital of Sweden. A city of diversity where tradition, history, cobbled streets, museums and magnificent palaces meet modernity and innovation. Stockholm offers experiences all year round, from sunny summer days to glittering winter days.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: City tour Upon arrival in Stockholm, we meet our local guide who takes us on an interesting city tour to familiarize us with the Swedish capital. Our tour takes us past landmarks such as the City Hall where the Nobel dinner is held, the Royal Palace and the Globe. We end the tour with a walk in the cobblestone alleys of the Old Town where we learn more about Stockholm’s history. After checking in at our hotel, dinner awaits.
  • Day 2: Lunch cruise and the Vasa museum We start the day with breakfast and then head down to Strandvägen. A classic archipelago ship is waiting to take us on a tour of the beautiful inner archipelago. In the beautiful ship’s saloon, we enjoy a good lunch while viewing Stockholm from the sea. Back on land, we head out to Djurgården, which has been a place of popular entertainment for centuries. Here is the Vasa Museum where we will see the world’s best preserved 17th century ship and hear the story of the magnificent warship. In the evening, we gather and have dinner together.
  • Day 3: The Royal Palace and Millesgården After breakfast, we will visit the Royal Palace, one of Europe’s largest and most vibrant castles, for a guided tour of the magnificent parade rooms. After the tour, we have the opportunity to see the stately High Guard change.
